Samarium cobalt magnet magnetic property is not weak than NdFeb magnet, with high coercivity, good temperature stability (the highest use temperature is 250 to 550℃, Curie temperature is 700 to 800℃) and other characteristics, and samarium cobalt corrosion resistance, without electroplating treatment, is widely used in many fields.
Applications: Due to their characteristics, magnets are most commonly used in applications requiring high operating temperatures, such as generators, pump couplings, sensors, electrical motors, Marine applications as well as automotive, racing, aerospace, military and food and manufacturing industries.
Sm2Co17 magnet is 2∶17 type samarium cobalt has excellent permanent magnet performance. Samarium cobalt permanent magnets are mainly made of rare earth elements such as samarium and cobalt, which are mainly divided into the first generation SmCo5(type 1:5) and the second generation Sm2Co17(type 2:17).
